Resident Evil 8 is set to release on August 16th and will be available in both the United States and Canada for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, according to an announcement from Konami.
The game is the second entry in the Resident Evil franchise, which launched in 2004.
The first game, Resident Evil 2: Biohazard, came out on November 4th, 2002.
The sequel was released on October 13th, 2005.
The series has always been based around a young woman named Claire Dearing who wakes up from an alien-invasion and must defend her homeland against the undead.
Claire Daring is a young survivor of a biological disaster that took the life of her father.
After being captured by a zombie army, Claire and her friends fight back against the horde before being attacked by the Reapers.
This is the story of Claire’s journey to save her people and the world from the Reaper threat.
The game will include a new multiplayer mode called “Reaper Raid,” which is a game mode where the player can take on the roles of either Claire Dancing or the new Claire Domingo.
In the mode, players can use their guns, melee attacks, and special abilities to fend off hordes of Reapers and other enemies.
The first two games were developed by Platinum Games and released by Capcom in 2002.
In 2012, Capcom released Resident Evil: The Final Chapter on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Resident Evil 5 was released in 2017 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One S, PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR Pro.
